1 Corinthians 1:13 meaning

In the congregation of Corinth, divisions arose as factions formed around different leaders, causing discord among believers. Paul knew that this disunity stemmed from a misunderstanding of their identity in Christ, urging the early church to abandon their party spirit. He forcefully posed the question of whether Christ could be divided, emphasizing that their loyalty should rest solely on Jesus rather than on human leaders, reminding them that he was not crucified for them, nor were they baptized in his name.
